The Gathering 2009

Included as part of our selected packages is The Gathering 2009 Silver Passport. It is only with this passport that you can gain entrance to the Clan Parade and Pageant and entrance to the Highland Games on both Saturday and Sunday. The tickets come in a beautiful leather bound wallet which is embossed with The Gathering 2009 logo to give you a secure place for your passport and a souvenir of your visit. Passport holders will watch Clan members parade up the historic Royal Mile and take their seats in the shadow of the magnificent Edinburgh Castle for a spectacular Clan Pageant. The Clan Pageant will showcase pipers, massed bands, and highland dancers who will trace the history of the development of the clans through the ages. This is an event not to be missed by anyone who is passionate about Scotland, Scottish heritage and anyone of Scots ancestry. This truly is the biggest event of its kind to take place in Scotland in 2009.
